Interview with Heavy Metal Legend, Vinny Appice! I've interviewed a lot of successful, big name musicians and artists, but when I had the chance to interview one of my personal childhood idols, it was a moment I felt grateful and excited about-all at the same time. I first heard Vinny Appice playing with the late, great Ronnie James Dio back in 1987 when my friend loaned me a cassette tape of Dio's "Sacred Heart." I heard Ronnie scream, "HE'S THE KING OF ROCK N ROLL!" and then came Vinny's crazy ass drum fill/intro. My life hasn't been the same since!
